I switched to more basic colors and patterns around that age. Primary, Gap, Old Navy are all fine. I do still buy some HA stuff though because they have good solid color options.

Huh? The Hanna shirts are great and last forever, and have a high resale value.

This goes up to size 12

Nordstrom has some nice stuff for that next stage, although I personally don’t think 5 is too old for Boden/Hanna.

I feel like they're the same either too cutesy or too preppy look. I like some of the tea collection stuff but its so pricey so looking for other ideas

Tea has some good sales.

I feel like he’s aged out of the really cutesy Hanna style little kid shirts (that I loved) and he won’t do collared shirts so it’s basically tshirts / sweatshirts all the time. He will do bright colors and fun patterns though - any suggestions of where to look? Everything I’ve looked at in the boys (vs toddler) sizes is either super pretty or super blah in terms of color and design
