Both of my neighbors have magnolias. I’d say about every other year the blooms are killed by a frost.

Anything on the edge of your zone that blooms early can be hit or miss around here. Some glorious years and some duds.

Unfortunately not. Early blooming magnolias are particularly susceptible to frost.

The blooms that were already showing and pink will remain brown, but any blooms that did not already show should come out pink. Really stinks, my magnolia was half bloomed and now is all brown. Hoping the remainder of the blooms are healthy.

We have a magnolia in our yard and I have no idea how to treat it/take care of it- it looks....not well. What do you do?

The tree was just starting to bloom and it was so lovely. Now all the blooms appear to be dead. Any hope for a recovery?
