Are your induction stoves quiet? I have a small Duxtop cooktop that’s pretty noisy so I was wondering if the high quality brands are different.

In my case, I wanted 5 burners, a bridge function for a griddle, at least one at 3.7kw. Some of the other features were less compelling.

What brand did you get? If the stove is induction, then what is the oven part? Do you have a choice?

According to this article, gas stoves emit greenhouse gasses and impart a risk for childhood asthma that is equivalent to living with a smoker.

I was really surprised to learn this -- and very happy that we use induction, which I found easier and faster to cook with vs our old Wolf gas stove.

We used a GE induction cooktop for 5 years without any trouble. Easy to use. Easy to clean. And very reliable. During our recent kitchen renovation we replaced it with Bora, which I love even more - it has an integrated exhaust, but I don't think you have that in the US yet.

Is Wolf a good induction range? I’m looking to get a top of the line one because I cook a lot.

Costco has LG induction ranges in stock and available for delivery in two weeks to a month.

I wanted to get the Bosch (because I am in love with my Bosch dishwasher) but it was not available. So I ended up getting the GE one. It was very, very loud. So loud that I ended up returning it and getting a regular GE electric range. I do not have much experience with induction but it was way louder than my friend's and my parents' induction cooktops.

OP here - this was my first choice, with the double oven, but there’s just no way I can wait on one. So I’m regrouping and trying to make a next best choice.

I ordered an induction range last June and have yet to receive it. I believe there was a supply-chain issue related to the induction parts, but that may have been resolved as I am slated to receive the range this June (fingers crossed). I ordered a GE Cafe 30” range.

Looking to buy a slide-in induction range that will be delivered later this spring. (We could go to the end of the summer and cook out for a while, but things that are 8+months out are not feasible for us). Right now planning on 30 in, but could go up to 36 it it’s worth it. Does anyone have experience or opinions on these?
Options seem to be:
Frigidaire (not interested)
Kitchen aid or GE profile (comparable in terms of features and price)
Bertazoni or Fisher & Paykel (will I really get a better cooking experience with an upgrade?)
Others you know are actually in stock somewhere?
