It’s a shame but the republicans will stop high speed trains because it will be in blue states. Studies show 90% of the delays in air travel can be traced back to the NE air corridor. It is at max capacity.

Biden promised high-speed Maglev like trains during the 2020 campaign season. It was one of the very first initiatives to be ditched in his policy plans when he came into office in 2021. High speed rail would have benefited all of America - rich and poor, manufacturers and workers. Its too bad.

When is the US going to get with the program in high speed train?!
I'm looking at Amtrak train rides and it's nothing like trains in parts of Europe and Asia. Over 4 days on train from East Coast to the west coast.
