You could see if Kidsco Jr would place him in the 2s room since he is over 18 months. They don't offer part time for 0-24 month olds but for 2s they have different schedule options including half days (9am-1pm). They have two locations in Gaithersburg and one in Rockville.

Our daycare doesn't offer part time unfortunately. I would be so happy if they did and would stay but not an option. And thanks for your suggestion. I stayed with him until he was over a year old and I'm still going to be home with him but want him in a more structured/consistent program.

We won't be eligible for financial aid. With my husband's salary we would still be considered to make too much. But without my income it still makes daycare hard with our student loans etc...

I unexpectedly have to quit my job earlier than expected. I was planning on leaving in the fall but because of some family dynamics that changed I need to leave much sooner. I already have my 19 month old registered for a new program in the fall but he is in full time daycare now and I want to find something for him until fall as I cant afford to have him in full time daycare when I'm not working.

Looking for something around 3 hours (ie. 9-12 or similar). Preferably 5 days a week but 3 days is fine. My son was somewhat delayed before daycare and daycare was a game changer for him so I really want to have him in a program.

Any idea of a program like this that has space for an 19 month right now? We live in the Rockville area but willing to travel as far as Chevy chase MD or Gaithersburg MD or similar.
