We used to go two or three times in a row when we first met. Now we are in our 40s — on the rare occasion that we aren’t asleep or needing to race somewhere after, I’m still up for more but my husband is done until the next day. It’s age. I’m sure if I pushed it he could, but eh.

DH would take considerable time (hours to a day). He is 47 but has been like this since I met him when he was 35.

I knew someone who could release and move immediately into round 2 without stopping, even into his 50s. He was incredibly high drive and could release 4-5+ times per day.

My husband is often ready to go for round 2 very quickly (like 5 minutes) after round 1, but I am usually too tired. His libido is too high. I have caught him masturbating next to me in bed a few times in the middle of the night after we have had sex. He is 41.

Some men have a longer refractory period and it often gets longer with age, when I was 25 I needed about 15 minutes now that I am nearly 50 it may take an hour but usually by then we’re both on to different things or asleep.

At 40 with my wife of 7 years I've done 2 rounds back to back (like immediately) a couple of times per year, but you know, usually 7 years married you don't see a frequent reason to do that. However, my unmarried, three year younger brother tells me he sometimes has problems getting it up even the first time with a relatively new girlfriend. So, I think it's very person specific

What? No. He’s not twenty. I wouldn’t expect a forty year old to be ready for round two for hours or even a day. Now, I’ve definitely encountered guys who are, but I wouldn’t think someone who can only have sex once a day has ED.
