Tiffany town car or Tony Hinds-both very highly recommended on DISboards. Tony is independent but runs town cars and vans and his email is found on the transportation forum there. He’s $140 round trip and will stop at grocery for you on the way to resort.

I’m looking at limos right now, and it’s looking to be about $100 each way. Might as well spring for it and avoid waiting for your ride to arrive.

Did you use it post-pandemic though, when they stopped gathering and checking luggage for you? In its last year, you had to pick your bags up at baggage claim before going to the shuttle, and then when you were leaving, you could no longer pre-check your bags at the resort. Once those perks were gone, Uber became a much better option.

OP, in your case, I'd just Uber, since you'll have your own booster seats. Sunshine Flyer has seatbelts for your boosters, while I don't think that's guaranteed with Mears.

No, because we are still in a pandemic and haven’t gone to Disney since 2019.

We used Tiffany Towncar and they provided the booster and car seat we needed so we could travel lighter!

This. Its no real loss. Just Uber. Definitely don't pay money for the same crappy Mears service that used to be free.

We'll be renting a car while we're there since we're going to other parts of FL after, but I would just suggest Uber or a private service if you can. It's really disappointing that Disney stopped the free transportation to the resorts--that was one of the best perks of staying on-site

Definitely just take Uber XL or Lyft. Won't cost any more than the transport services and way easier/faster.

Hello! We're making our first trip to Disney as a family of four (parents, 4 yr old, 7 yr old) and are trying to sort through the options of getting from MCO to the resorts (we are not renting a car). My understanding is that Disney stopped its free shuttle service, and it seems like all the current options have decidedly mixed reviews, whether it's one of the two shuttles (Mears, Sunshine Flyer) or private transport services.

For those that have been to Disney in 2022 and needed to get from MCO to your resort, what did you go with and would you do it again? If it informs your recommendation, we will have two booster seats with us and will likely have 2 or 3 suitcases.
