I'm asking more for information; I'm not pro- or anti- APE or other school-focused groups, but find some transparency in knowing who is supporting whom is helpful.

Oh that's interesting. I don't think this is the APE candidate. I kind of assumed APE would run Miranda again. But I really don't know.

APE sure spends enough time on DCUM. Let's see if they weigh in.

I don't know this guy from Adam but if he's not in APE, I'm all in.

And for me, If this guy is a democrat and is going to do that caucus nonsense, I am out.

Going forward, I refuse to vote for anyone who is a democrat and participates in the caucus. And if that means I vote for no one, oh well.

yeah that worked out well with the governor's race

That poor man. I hope he knows what he’s getting into.

Looks like he’s going to resign if he wins. Would it still be a conflict of interest since his wife is an employee?

According to you all, APE is completely anti-teacher so why would even imagine this teacher might be a member of APE?

I don't think he is a member of APE, the comment there was more of a general "it begins"
-teacher who is a member of APE

PP you quoted here - correcting myself, the quote was "And we're off to the races!" on the APE page, very soon after his announcement. So I wasn't sure if there was a link (and to your point, would have been a bit surprised if a teacher candidate was backed by the group, but who knows).

Is there a reason you’re being so vague about who it is?

A teacher could be interesting and different. Kind of refreshing.
