They also track my family by creating fake personas on Twitter that follow/ lurk, skim followers and interact with my teenagers friends to monitor his life. 40 year old woman pretending to be a 17 year old teen on Twitter to interact with my teens friends, etc...

lurking on the public twitter feed of my child's HS to monitor his sports schedule and other school events, then zoom crashing them with defamatory comments

And use the chat feature in You Tube to anonymously correspond without their phone number being recorded.

The only way to find out is to ask an attorney. Normally, you need the original to submit it to the courts, but there are exceptions. As for being recoverable - I suggest you contact Google and see what they say.

In the future, don't leave the emails in spam or change your setting to not delete in 30 days. You can create a separate folder and out all the emails in there.

A few years ago I spammed someone who was sending me threats via email. I monitored my spam folder once every 30 days and screen shotted any threats I could use to seek restraining order, file police reports etc.... but the originals were auto deleted from my Spam.

My question: are screen shots with date ( month, year, time) and email sender acceptable in court or do I need originals ?

Is deleted spam ever recoverable. I don't have in my possession the same computer, but the email threats were sent via gmail.

If so, what is the typical cost and what is the normal protocol that a firm doing this would give me to ensure confidentiality of my non- relevant emails ?
