These things have a real impact in the vibe and culture. Your DC can get a good education at either, but would probably have a preference of one over the other.
Yes. I think they are so different that a kid would be able to pretty easily decide which fit he would prefer.
My kids are at Gonzaga and love it, but we know families with kids at St John's who love it. Jesuit tradition/education is a thing in my family (not legacy) and I really loved the 'brotherhood' aspect at GZ, as do my boys. Really strong friendships.
