Also, ultimately the union risks losing some of its power but being absurd and making unreasonable demands in the face of this freight train. Portland Oregon is unmasking for gods sake. Horse is out of the barn in the next town. By supporting this they save their capital for things they can actually influence like pay and benefits. Ultimately most members will appreciate that decision.
