My spouse and half my inlaws are constantly doing this even after eating at the dinner table. Yes it’s rude and gross.

A little discreet wiping of the nose? Not ideal but okay. A full-on honking nose blow? Seek privacy please. It is gross.

Put a tissue on your nose while you walk to the bathroom. No, you shouldn't have to drip it. Do not blow your nose at your desk if you share an office space. Take your allergy meds or go home because you're sick.

I mean, ideally you don't do it in front of others, but sometimes you can't go to a private place, and blowing your nose beats that awful snuffling and sniffing that people do. At least turn away from other people and keep the snotty tissue out of view as much as possible.

^^Also to complete the flow chart, if you are sucking up snot making THAT noise, please don't do that. Go to the restroom and ... you guessed it! Blow your nose.

Yes. You should do it in the bathroom. My DH does this at the table or sometimes in front of people and it's so gross. If you're outside and can't get to a bathroom, then walk away from whomever you're with. It's private.

My coworker acts like it’s the most disgusting thing ever but I’ve definitely heard her be more gross. What can I say to her next time she acts like I just did something so gross, even though I literally just blew my nose
