Why not just ask the grown ass man? “Hey, did you want to make up the 4 hours another time or just keep with the schedule? I am good either way.”

I don’t know that he will. This is very new, and he’s pretty significantly depressed, both of which make self advocacy hard. He loves his kids but he is also kinda exhausted by them.
DP. Then reach out to him and ask if he would like to schedule a make-up visit. If yes, work with him to make it happen. If no, then your conscience is clear.

I don’t know that he will. This is very new, and he’s pretty significantly depressed, both of which make self advocacy hard. He loves his kids but he is also kinda exhausted by them.

My kids’ Dad has 4 hours of supervised visitation a week. Since my kids are very athletic the agreement just says “on the weekend, inclusive of a church service” so we can move it around games etc . . .
He lives with his Dad, who does the supervision. Today I woke up with a nasty stomach bug. I didn’t feel safe sending potentially contagious kids to a house with an elderly person, so I cancelled. The kids watched a Zoom church service with Dad and Grandpa, and talked some but not 4 hours.
What are the rules? Should I offer a midweek visit? 8 hours next weekend? Or is this just a thing that happens?
