Our surrogate was told to wait 12 months after a c-section. 18 seems long but it may depend on factors we don't know. Worth pushing back on the clinic to find out their reasoning.

I transfered a week after my first turned 1. I delivered my first via c-section and I'm 41. Neither my RE nor my OB recommended waiting 18 months. My OB would have been fine if I had waited only 6 months.

Was your first delivered via c section? I know some REs and OBs prefer a bit more spacing after a c section.

How much time did you have between transfers? My first turned 1 recently and I reached out to my clinic to learn about the process for #2 and was surprised to hear they wanted me to wait until 18 months. I am soon to be 36, to the extent that matters.
