I did it in a week or so. Here’s the secret. Get all your supplies and do one entire room at a time, one room per day. Do it ALL. Don’t leave a few things here and there as they will add up. I had two small kids at the time and worked a few hours after they were in bed for the night. Very do-able. Allow two days for the kitchen though.

Weeks of preparing plus professionals. Hire people, this is worth it.

You should start now because the more you can purge, the better. If you have to rush you’ll just pack everything and miss the opportunity.

Weeks. With two days of professional help and left some stuff for after the move since we were renovating the old house before sale.

2 adults, two tweens
2500 sq ft
One four day weekend (not counting lead time to acquire packing supplies)

We have a relatively small amt of stuff

I am aces at organizing and packing
