Some of that is because their costs are higher. Some of it is because that's what the market will bear. If the school brings in more money than it costs, the surplus goes into the church coffers.

A few years ago two boys went to St. Albans from Holy Trinity class of 2023. I do not know of any girls attending NCS from Holy Trinity but I guess you would have to apply and see. I think most girls it sounds like continue on to Catholic schools but it is not impossible to go elsewhere.

Don't follow super closely but these placements seem consistent with what we saw when we were considering HTS for our DS a couple of years ago.

No, they do not. If you are thinking about saving money while attending HTS, and then applying to an independent school -- think again. It is hard enough to get into the popular Catholic high schools after attending a Catholic K-8 school, so if your goal is a top independent high school, DO NOT get on the Catholic school train.

I know a few girls from our community who went to Holy trinity. Other than SR and visi - I know girls at GDS and AHC

HTS is top 3 feeder school to Visi based on girls attending each year. SJC is the next largest destination school. The SR cohort is smaller given its location relative to where students live (50% VA, DC 40%). A few girls go to GDS and Maret each year.

We are looking into HTS and I wanted to find out more about outplacement to high school for female students. I know that many students would go to Visi or Stone Ridge. Do many students attend the independent schools for high school? Thanks!
