Thanks, all, for your suggestions. We went to Menomale and it was delicious! Primrose doesn't serve dinner on Sundays at this time, but we hope to try it in the future.

Primrose is one of my favorite restaurants ever (but I’m biased based on where I live). The food is good to great, the wines are awesome, and the owner is also awesome. The decor is beautiful and you can sit inside or outside for hours.

One more primrose plug - the French onion soup is incredible AND it’s vegetarian. They also have a few off menu kid options if you’re bringing them.

Meeting up with friends for early-ish dinner in Brookland on Sunday. Would appreciate your suggestions on where to go. Thanks, DCUM foodies!
