Oh, cupcake, you weren't at the Council when Barry was a member and later when he was mayor. He was adored by rich and poor alike. The poor because he gave them no show jobs and their kids no show summer jobs and to the wealthy because he couldn't be bothered to collect their property taxes. The guy was a crook, liar, cheat, and bad boy -- but , my god, did he have charisma!
