Well, they are free to not have their books on there then. Until then I plan to do listen to books on my long commutes.


Also try the Libby app (using your library card). They don't have everything (though you can request books they don't yet have), but it's free and you just as easy to stream through your phone. Great for commutes and longer car trips!!

I remember the bad old days of $60 books on tape that were 7 CDs. If authors want to create a storefront with reasonably priced downloads available on demand that sync across all of my devices, I'll be happy to switch.

I really like Audible books that are autobiographies - Katie Couric's and Andre Agassi's are both quite good. The Biggest Bluff by Maria Konnikova is a fun one, too. And Eat a Peach, by David Chang.

I read just about anything except maybe science fiction. Loved Pachinko, Cutting for Stone, A Fine Balance, to name a few.
