Mine were basically identical. 35 pounds both pregnancies:

DS 7 lb 4 oz at 39+2 and after a lot of IV fluids in delivery

DD 6 lb 15 oz at 38+4 and no IV fluids

Apparently this has been studied: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32981144
“Results: Birth weight increased with birth order. In univariate analyses, birth order had a significant effect on birth weight-SDS with second-borns having 0.29 SDS (app. 130 g) and third-borns 0.40 SDS (app. 180 g) higher values than first-borns (P < .001). Maternal pregnancy weight gain was associated with higher birth weight-SDS (P < .01) in univariate analysis, though maternal pregnancy weight gain was lower for higher birth orders. Multivariate analyses revealed that being a second or third-or-later-born child had a stronger impact on birth weight than all maternal factors.”

I gained 80lbs and turned out to have an hypothyroid condition. Lost all but ten after delivery. I’m giving up on the ten.

No I don’t think so. Idk. I stopped weighing myself so much after the first kid.

Did your pregnancy weight gain relate to your baby’s weight? Ie, if you gained more in one pregnancy than another, was that baby heavier?

Gained about 27 lbs at term both pregnancies. My first was <6 lbs. wondering if it’s an indicator for #2. BMI was about 19.5 pre pregnanxu
