I think they're predicting some pickup sales crash, too, if gas is $6 or 7 a gallon. But pickups are necessary in many industries. Suzie and Carter don't need to be hauled to practice in a 14mpg Chevy Suburban, Escalade, G-Class Mercedes, or Ford Expedition.

Doubtful. I will not give up my gas guzzler but I don't drive much. Its equally bad to have a smaller car and drive it more.
