Please share! I feel like I never see anyone from around here.

Very nice. Great for Alison Giese!

I only subscribe to Southern Home and Veranda now and I rarely see DMV area homes in them. House Beautiful turned kind of hip? Not my cup of tea anymore.

I miss Traditional Home. Better Homes & Gardens seems to have turned it into a quarterly publication.

Is this this one? The photos will stack differently on different screens.

I think the kitchen is nice but don’t forget that House Beautiful was completely changed a few years ago. This doesn’t mean it’s not a nice kitchen but the magazine itself is completely different than it was for decades before. It’s like Newsweek, but not as sad or evil.

It's 11:40 now, and dated.

I *loathe* that shiplap wall and ceiling.

Some of the elements are very nice but it's too busy. And shiplap is terrible. I would have settled for two cabinet/island colors, not three. The marble backsplash on the stove is too much. The stove is lovely though, the wood cabinets are lovely and the green color is nice.

Needs an edit to make it more refined and less busy IMO. But it's a nice kitchen.

Normally, I would like something like this. But this style has been around awhile and I feel like maybe it’s already dated? It feels exactly like a Rejuvenation catalogue (owned by Pottery Barn/WS).

I'm not a fan. Too many different materials for my taste. Lighting is not attractive and not well laid out. The $16K range is nice though.

I couldn’t like it less.

Hmm. I prefer saving the money and designing my own. These kitchens are fine, but a lot of people with an eye for design, who have done their research, can do the same.

See top picture and then left second row. This is one of a handful of designs from DC area that made it in the magazine over the years. I wonder what was the budget - the range starts at 16K.
