It's not hard to stagger registrations for different camps to varying days/times to avoid overload on the system. Instead there are 50k people trying to register at the same time.

The most important part is to set aside 30 min to an hour to stare at your screen if you want one of the competitive camps. If you just want non-gymnastics sports camp you can sleep in and come back later.

There are so many ways to stagger the registration to avoid the website crashing.

10 minutes and still the “please wait”
