We were getting it serviced by a great shop (Rising Sun Motors in College Park). When we sold it to the co-worker, she started taking the car to Rising Sun for maintenance and they just transferred our maintenance record to her. She drove the car for 7 more years until 2016 before she finally traded it in for a different car. We took our new car to Rising Sun and whenever I would go in for maintenance, they would give me the superficial "update" on our old car. Like "oh, your old car was in for maintenance last month and it's still running great!" When the co-worker traded the car in, the car was still in decent running order, but she needed to start making long distance trips to visit a family member and was worried about driving long distances in such an old car (it was 19 years old at the time), so she traded it in for a new car for her trips. That car had well over 200K miles on it between the three owners and was still in good working order.
That car was a great little car.
