I checked the date on the OP, expected it to have been written at least a year ago. Glad you finally went to visit your mom. Guess no reason to make you feel bad about not having done it a while ago.

Agree. According to my nursing home administrator wife, families could hardly wait to visit after Covid restrictions were lifted. I’m so sorry for your mom.

How long has it been since you saw your mother? The nursing homes around here have been allowing visitors since early 2021.

+1 We have seen my parents multiple times. We’re all vaxxed and always masked. No transmission and much happiness.
