If they have made the doughnuts smaller, it’s probably because of requirements to display calories and not inflation. Doughnuts are cheap.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if the regular sized ones have gotten smaller. I read a big container of frying oil cost $25 a couple of years ago, and it cost over $60 now. Don't assume that these companies are trying to cheat you, they are just trying to stay afloat.
