Let’s be real here. The 28% of kids already vaccinated are concentrated in ward 3 DCPS schools and the charters with majority middle class families. They likely make up most of that number.
I suspect it’s even lower than 28% in EOTP DCPS and title 1 schools.
The city is not going to do anything about kids not vaccinated. They will continue to keep all schools open. The achievement gap has gotten much worst since the pandemic, and the city knows they can’t afford to keep these kids out of school.
