I’m on 300 Gonal-F and 150 Menopur. My baseline count was 6 on one side and 4 on the other so to hear only 6 after medication is disheartening. But again, no idea if it’s still an ok amount or really low.

They only count follicles above 10 mm. The others could grow. I've had success with fewer and many failures with more. While I understand the disappointment, it's not over yet

OP here. My other ovary did wake up and produce follicles, but I don't think they were all mature. My cycle ended up being so so. Maybe the stims and the priming were to blame.

OP here. Yup that's exactly how I'm feeling. Could I ask how different your follicle number was from Day 4 to Day 9-11?

It wasn’t for me. I think the most they saw during stims was 11 for me but they retrieved 17. Of those only 9 were mature because they triggered too soon.

Also, one of my ovaries produced hardly any eggs. It comes with DOR and increasing age.
Thank you. That's really helpful and fingers crossed. I'm still holding out hope that this ovary wakes up.

I'm waiting to hear back from my doctor, but just wondering if the number of follicles on Day 4 is indicative of the number at retrieval? Only one ovary is responding so far, and the number of follicles is less than my previous AFC. I know there's not much I can do other than following directions about delaying the trigger, but I'm confused and want to understand where to set my expectations.
