For those of you having bad experiences on Poshmark, I recommend the RealReal. Since they vet everything and it comes from them, not from the consigner, you never get stuff that is dirty or misrepresented. Or at least, I haven't. The biggest downs side is that I find their online photos to be not great, especially for any item that is black or very dark. But if you are familiar with the brand or item, this doesn't matter as much.

Oh, and they take returns, which is another big advantage over Poshmark.

I only use Poshmark for kids clothes at this point. You can get great deals on "lots" of clothes sorted by size, and it's a really good way to get cute brands that I hate having to pay full price for. But I don't buy anything for myself on there anymore because I've had too many bad experiences.

Oh, but I do sometimes buy things on Instagram from style bloggers when they clean out their closets! If you find a blogger who wears your size, sometimes they will periodically post a ton of their older stuff on their Instagram stories with really good prices. And bonus -- you can figure out how to style it by looking back through their old posts.

Um… LL Bean, TJ Maxx, and Costco. Not recommending, just answering the question.

Poshmark - easy to find cheap but quality clothes in my size (0-2). I never shop in stores because I hate looking for clothes in person. The lighting gives me a headache and the selection is terrible. On poshmark I can narrow it down by color, type, etc. I also buy a few leather goods on Mercari and shoes on eBay.

Mainly secondhand.

I HATE postmark. I can’t believe so many people buy off of it. Everytime, even if I buy something listed as “new with tags” there ends up being cat hair on it and deodorant stains, possibly a moth hole, something. It is never new looking

36 here. Started doing Stitch Fix and I pretty much love everything I’ve gotten.

Otherwise Nordstrom rack, Loft, Amazon, j crew, Madewell, Eddie Bauer, lululemon.

I love Uniqlo mens t shirts. The cotton is so substantial.

I also buy a lot on Poshmark. If there’s certain brands you like, look on FB for resale and BST groups.

Nadaam for cashmere. Uniqlo for basics like t-shirts and linen buttondowns. Eileen Fisher for black skinny pants. Ann Mashburn for blouses and accessories. J. Crew for their blazers. Ferragamo, Chanel and Hermes for shoes. Nike and Superga for sneakers. MaxMara for coats.

I’m 36. I tend to buy very simple clothes, but go for higher quality when it makes sense to. Then I wear things to death.
