DD is a math major at a mid level big 10 school and started applying with a 2.9 and is finding it difficult. Everyone wants to know her gpa and she gets cut.
Can she lie, or are these companies actually asking for transcripts? When I've been involved in background checks on new hires, the education verification has never gone beyond confirming the degree itself and the date it was earned. Nothing about GPA, even if it was asked for on the application.
