I am a minister and agree 100%. It’s nothing but missionary tourism. I hate it so much.

When I was a Peace Corps volunteer, I saw how a group made people pray and read literature before feeding them. It was just wrong. They needed the food and were forced into doing something against their traditional practices in order to get it.

I agree 100%. But it can't be done. The local governments would have to ban them, but you expect the missionaries on their visa application to say "I am coming to prosthelytize"?

OP, I think you don't understand why they do it.

The Bible basically directs Christians to spread the Christian message to **every country** in the world. Many believe Jesus will not return until this has been completed. Thus, these missionaries believe they must come to your country.

+1000. Most immoral, anti-family people I know get away with by saying "church, church, bible, bible, jesus, jesus" in front of people then sneak around bullying others. Worst are missionaries.

The Mormons positively require the young people to go out and be missionaries. They prey on people in polynesia, micronesia and the Pacific for some reason.

They are banned in some countries (like Indonesia). Doesn't stop people from trying anyway. I am generally with you though.
