If your DC got into an Ivy ED then you should have pulled the State U application. If you tell the ED Ivy that you want to negotiate based on a scholarship to a school where you should have pulled the application you might actually be risking your admission spot.
If you got in SCEA then you will just get a flat "no" for an answer. But go ahead and try if you want.
This sounds accurate. If you do not commit to the ED offer for any reason other than the the ones listed, DC is risking the spot.

If your DC got into an Ivy ED then you should have pulled the State U application. If you tell the ED Ivy that you want to negotiate based on a scholarship to a school where you should have pulled the application you might actually be risking your admission spot.
