Hope none of them are interested in any a medical or public health field.
True.
Dear college,
I really want to attend your institution and I am pre-med like at least a third if my class. Please if it's that news video of me walking out on the health and science guidance provided by my high school.
Ignore* that video

Yep, middle schoolers too. I call it Hobo Chic. My child doesn't even like leggings anymore. Sweatpants, the baggier the better.

Jeans really aren’t very comfortable. My teen girl does wear them pretty often but my teen boy only wears athletic pants and, if those are all in the wash, cargo pants. My girl wears a mix of Keene, joggers and occasionally her school logo PJ pants (which she has never worn to bed so they are functionally just sweats).

PJ pants are very in - especially for the boys. Wilson has more of mix of dressing styles though but there are definitely a lot of very comfortable looking kids!

There is a uniform at public HS. Sweats and sneakers..maybe uggs on the girls feet. All day everyday day. I can't remember the last time DD requested an article of real clothing. Prom dress might be the only clothing purchase this year!

What’s wrong with what they are wearing?

Yup. Sweats, PJ pants, hoodies, Uggs or slides with socks.

Yep. Pajama pants and sweats are the norm around here. Jeans if they are feeling really fancy.

I live near Yorktown, and yes, many are actually wearing pj pants.

The bus comes to our neighborhood before 7:00. They did just roll out of bed!
Why would it matter at all?

Yep, that's how they dress in our MCPS HS. I don't see anything really wrong with it. It's school, not a formal business. I prefer functional/comfortable over "look nice".
As long as they are clean, and not showing too much skin, their underwear, I don't see an issue, especially since it's winter and cold.
