Only a small number gets into any T20 and much smaller number gets a scholarship at one so unlikely for you to get their perspective here. In my opinion if kid is okay with it, a T20 with 20-30k is an amazing oppurtunity for someone not eligible for enough financial aid to make it work.

How much?

About 61k to 68k per year - varies year to year.

This is rare enough that few people are going to want to 'out' their kid.

Nephew lives in Texas and ended up at Rice with a $100k. He is an outstanding student and had acceptations from Columbia, U Chicago and Princeton with $0 financial aid. He had a full ride offer from his state's non-flagship school.

Agree with the pp’s. Look at T25-50 for any substantial merit. And it may or may not be substantial enough for your individual financial circumstances…. Meaning it would bring the cost down, but short of half or full ride, your in state or oos public may still be cheaper.

I don’t think there is such a thing. Well, maybe USC….. But honestly, merit based is very rare.
