Meh. They've really gone down hill this century. And their commitment to DEI is absurd. If I wanted my kid to go to school with muggles, I'd send him to muggle school for free.

There are no muggles at Hogwarts. Are you referring to magical children of muggles, ie “mudbloods”?

Expeditionary learning school. Huge outdoor space with lots of outdoor time. Progressive education (not talking about politics, but educational philosophy) where students follow their passions and interests for learning. OUTDOOR TIME and movement for my active kid. No worksheets.

A school with a nice playground like Beauvoirs. Doesn’t need to be on several acres though. I want to be for schooling, not landscaping and grass maintenance. Teachers that love teaching and want the best for the kids in their class. Other kids who are nice and not complete jerks. No cliques. 2 recesses a day and Spanish offered at the elem level. I do like a uniform as long as it’s practical and comfortable. No homework for the Elem years. …. True diversity, income, race, religion, family types……. And it Needs to be less than a 15 min drive from my house and cost less than $15k.

Whether you are looking to apply, currently awaiting admissions news, or your child is about to graduate from their school... What is your dream school? Real or imagined, or a relic from bygone days, what's your ideal school and what characteristics would it have?
