So I'm the hybrid dad poster, but gently compliment him on a different choice or say that you would like to see him in his favorite sweater b/c it looks good on him after working out. We are simple creatures and a little smirk and compliment will get us going.

The past year he started working out more, got fitter, and sold almost all of his nice clothes on posh mark/grailed and replaced it with these:

Nike makes these fleece sets in like 20 different colors and so he bought like 10 different sets and that all he wears.
He also sold all of his nice shoes and now only wears Nike runners and Jordan’s.
He used to dress so well and now he dresses like a Russian gangster! The only nice thing he wears from before covid is a jlc watch!
He’s going into his forties and I’m proud he’s super healthy but it is cringey how he dresses like a teen after years of the opposite.

I also have worked out during COVID and have added more joggers and hoodies as part of my daily wear including Jordan’s. I didn’t sell any of the old clothes but I have nowhere to go these days. I dress up to go to target or wear my nice boots to the park with my kids, but it’s not as frequent as before.
