She invited them because she was hoping they'd attend. They had the opportunity to RSVP and show up. Or RSVP no if they didn't want to attend. But they didn't bother. So why should she keep asking?

It sounds like the 3-8 kids her kid cared about rsvped yes. She's fine limiting it now, but wanted options earlier to have a decent number of kids.

I agree with OP, I don't want people rsvping the night before the party!

When I looked into for the same reason there was no way to turn off all reminders. I deleted all the non responders from the guest list before the reminder went out.

Go to Manage Invitation then Edit guest options and on the bottom right there's a thing for reminders and you can make it blank.

You can remove the people who haven’t replied from the Evite

I am having a birthday party this weekend. I invited the entire class to not hurt anyone’s feelings. Several people have not RSVPd and I am totally ok with them not coming. All of my child’s actual friends are coming. I don’t want Evite to send out the reminder.

Is there a way to turn this function off?
