I love all the conspiracy theories - do you people lay awake at night and fret about this nonsense? These partnerships are a fantastic idea. It has nothing to do with religious or “for-profit” schools.

He’s not turning K-12 schools into trade schools. Obviously, these would be an alternative to college.

Yes, and if the focus is on trade schools, the goal could be to create a pipeline for the private entity’s future workforce.

I could even see some sinister situation where Amazon charters a lab school.

There are a few lab schools in Virginia already. Many focus on preschool/early childhood. Not sure which one supposedly closed under Northam.

The Lt. Governor was saying in an interview there used to be a lab school that was serving underprivileged kids that was closed under the Northram admin and she said that was sad or a shame.
