The stew it made would easily feed ten people.

OP here. I ordered a few for fun and finally had time to try one today.

The recipe made a LOT of bean stew. It called for 2 cans of pinto beans, 2 cans of black beans, 1 can tomatoes, about half a pack of frozen shredded potatoes, 4 peppers, an onion, and 10 oz of spinach (I used fresh). I think that was everything.

The broth bomb "Speckled Rain" contained the spices: Cumin, Oregano, Paprika, Black Pepper, Ancho Chili, Coriander, Hatch Pepper, Clove, Allspice as well as baking soda, citric acid and salt.

I sauteed the onions and peppers, dumped all the other ingredients into the stew pot, cooked until it all turned into a brothy soup, and then added the seasoning ball and let it cook another 45 minutes.

My family really liked it. It was very convenient to have all the spices put together into one packet and it turned the bunch of boring ingredients into a flavorful stew. Yes, I could have measured all the spices but I do not typically have them all, especially not the chili, coriander, hatch pepper clove or Allspice.

I think it I used my instant pot, I could have made this from dried beans instead of canned. They say you can use frozen produce too to be even quicker. I chose to use fresh and chop it myself.

I actually don't like bean stew but I made this for the kids who want to be vegetarian/vegan. They liked it,which is good because we have a ton left.

It’s for people who don’t have a spice rack. $6 in spices for one pot of soup is expensive when you have to add everything else yourself.

Get Better than Boullion (vegan version) and use a spoon or two when you cook soup, rice, beans, etc. It's great and easy use!

This is what I was thinking too! This is a boullion cube marked up by a factor of 50. Though in OP’s defense vegetarian boullion cubes are really hard to find. Most grocery stores only carry chicken and beef.

Since I’ve gotten more accustomed to making beans in the instapot you can get great results with a few bay leaves, salt and olive oil.

I eat beans all the time and I would never buy this. It’s super gimmicky.

What you need is a couple easy, delicious recipes, not a product marketed to you.

Seems like an awfully expensive way to buy spices to me, but they're probably tasty. Spices usually are.

This sounds like it is for dumb lazy people, like hot chocolate bombs. Or tide pods.

OK I actually use and love cascade pods. But hot chocolate is easier and better not in bomb form, as I imagine broth is. I like getting the boxes of organic broth when they go on sale. done.

It is a ball of seasonings plus baking soda you add to a pot of bean stew to make it taste better.

I’m intrigued because my kid is vegan and I’m a bad cook- I don’t have a lot of time or patience to cook delicious bean stews from scratch.
