I am confused. You think that $1 mill over and above retirement accounts should still allow you to qualify for aid?

1 million outside of retirement accounts isn't much to deem you not needing financial aid??

Use the Net Price Calculator for each school to see what they would offer. You can usually find it on the school's financial aid website.

I make 250. We got merit aid but it didn’t bring the cost to under UVA so she went to UVA.

I realize it depends on a bunch of factors, but at what income would you not even bother to apply? 250? 300? higher?
