Is the Halo similar to a Snoo?

We didn’t have a bassinet for our first DD. We bought a (very lightly) used Halo for our second, and it was SOOO helpful.

We are going with the baby delight bassinet.

So you haven't had an infant without the snoo yet? I rocked two all night long. The snoo means I get to sleep instead.

The snoo. I've only had it with my 3rd but it's made my life so much easier

But I also get the baby the hell out of my room once they are back at birth weight and don't need to be woken up to feed

babybay is very nice looking. Also fits quite a variety of beds. But it is pricy and no storage. https://www.babybay.us/product/babybay-original/

I loved the Snoo as well. And it's pretty

Can’t recommend the Snoo enough if you can afford it. As someone who thought it was ridiculous, ordered in desperation and it was hands down the best money we spent.

The crate and barrel one makes me nervous. The sides seem so heavy and not breathable. I would much prefer a mesh sided thing like the Halo or the Snoo than something solid.

Do you want one with bells and whistles like the SNOO or something that’s low tech yet aesthetically pleasing?

We are using the 4moms one and really like it. Not as pretty as the SNOO but my kid likes it. And the white noise options are actually nice sounding.

I loved my arms reach co sleeper. Ugly as hell but super practical.

I’m struggling to make a decision on a bassinet. We plan on having the baby in our room for at least 2-3 months. For our last child we used a pack and play in our room. I think I’d rather have a proper bassinet this time. Most bassinets either seem practical (co-sleeper type) but kind of ugly or pretty but maybe not as practical? Of course we could also rent a Snoo or something.

My favorite has been:

But it doesn’t have storage, and seems like it may not be as practical. What do you love? Pros and cons?
