I would be tempted to do this anyway, I have heard of eggs and embryos being destroyed in shipping.

That's what I'm exploring now. Hopefully that clinic is accepting new patients without a many month wait. Fingers crossed.

OP here: my guess is they don't trust the labs at other clinics. They won't accept frozen donor eggs from all egg banks because of that, so that's my assumption. Frustrating, but not surprising.

Just curious, what is the rationale for not accepting them? Is it just the act that the embryos were created in an outside clinic and therefore they’re worried it will affect their stats/success rates? Or is it because they’re worried about the contract/legal issues?

Has anyone privately matched for embryo adoption? If yes, could you share who you worked with on the contract/legal side of things?

Second, which clinics in the DMV will accept privately adopted embryos? Currently a CCRM patient and they said they will not accept/transfer such embryos.
