We use space heaters in our upstairs bedrooms since our single zone heating is so inconsisent. You can get one that shuts off if it overheats. I wouldn't run one all night though. Usually being under blankets is enough at night but if the baby is too young, move him to your room.

Wool sleep sacks can help regulate body temp, whether it’s cold or hot. Woolino brand sacks are really nice. But still think 60 degrees is too cold.

78 feels lovely to me. I'd rather be too warm and kick off a blanket than be too cold. I hate cold.

Yes, apparently I am. So which is it? Neither solution is good so I’m failing to see the obvious solution. We just moved in here last fall and cannot afford to move to another rental.

Dyson space heater is only $450 and comes with a thermostat and is very safe. Hope you are not poor or something and can afford this.

Our room has the same issue. We aren’t cold because we have a massive duvet and I like sleeping cold because my husband sleeps extremely hot . But I can’t put covers/ blanket on the baby yet because of his age

Your baby sleeps in your room...where it is comfortable.

We have a basic one switch type heater- it gets way too hot (nanit says it is 78 degrees in there) when on, but when it’s off, the room gets as cold as 58-60 degrees. Which is the better option? Both suck I know, but I don’t feel comfortable putting a space heater in there because of fire risks and it’s a rental so I can’t upgrade the heating system. Baby now sleeps in the sleep sack and PJs but has woken up crying before because it is sometimes too cold when heater is off. Any other options?
