Today, I would take a position like this for $30/hr, so $600 week guaranteed, meaning I'm compensated whether or not I'm needed. Good luck!

I figure if the person takes the dogs on a walk when she arrives at 12, she would then let them out right before 3:00 before going to pick up the kids. Many of the tasks would not be daily (such as laundry, which we would also do ourselves as needed and on weekends).
Daily tasks:
Arrive, take dogs on a 15-minute walk: 20 minutes
Vacuum main level (one big area), unload dishwasher, wipe down kitchen counters if necessary: 30 minutes
Cut fruits & vegetables for kid lunches and dinner: 30 minutes
Let dogs outside before leaving to pick up the kids: 10 minutes
Tasks that would vary on a daily basis depending on needs and time: general tidying, laundry, vacuuming bedroom level, wash dog bowls, fill handsoap dispensers, drop off dry cleaning: remaining 1 hour, 30 minutes
I have done this job before and it's doable (I'm a former nanny whose job evolved when the kids I cared for got older, and I was more than happy to do similar tasks and remain employed with the family).
You realize you just timed all this out and it came to exactly 3 hours and you forgot the most time intensive part - COOKING DINNER FOR A FAMILY - in that time?

--family laundry (no bed linens/making beds), including putting away the kids' clothes
--taking dogs to the backyard and/or on a walk 1-2 times during the 5 hours
--prepping fruits & vegetables for kid lunches
--vacuuming the main level of our home daily, upstairs level once per week
--prepping simple dinners, possibly cooking on some days (prep and put into crockpot/instapot) depending on the person's comfort level with that
--general tidying on our main level, organize toys as needed
--wash dog bowls, give them fresh water
--wipe down kitchen counters daily
--filling handsoap dispensers in kitchen and bathrooms
--errands like the drycleaner
Of the 5 hours, about 3 hours would be available to do the above tasks. The last 2 hours would involve picking up two elementary-school-age kids and either bringing them home or taking them to an activity once per week.
I do realize that this is the purple unicorn as many, many families want the above set-up so the candidates are in high demand. If you have found a purple unicorn, what do you pay?
