That might be a problem if I end up getting the regular tote and stuff it to the brim. I am small framed and it might be a challenge to lug that around all day. Can the mini crossbody hold a 13" laptop or an iPad Pro along with wallets and other junk?

Also, are there any good light weight bag inserts that can help to keep stuff organized and not all mangled together?

Really would love to get one and try the company out.

This is OP. I looked at the Cuyana totes as well. They seem to be more dressy. Which one do you have? I was afraid that they will get all scratched up and ruined easily.

OP here. I read through the other threads but not sure how much above my $150-$200 budget. I like to have something that is no fuss and can last. I hope you are able to find the responses here helpful.

I have a small nutmeg tote with a zipper and like it. I want to get a mini crossbody but can’t decide what color I want.

It is a solid, no frills tote that is holding up well so far. My only complaint is that the zipper could be a little smoother when pulled

They’re very nice. The leather is beautiful and the bags are sturdy. They also have frequent sales in addition to the Almost Perfects. I really like the everlane totes as well.

I love my stuff from there. My big tote in the smooth medium brown definitely show scratches—so if that will irk you get something else. I also have a pebbled cross body in yellow and it doesn’t show scratches.

Their stuff is gorgeous and bomb proof.

I bought a crossbody tote and regular tote from them last spring - 1 smooth and 1 pebbled leather. I returned the smooth because I knew I wouldn’t be careful enough to keep it from getting scratched. Anyway both bags were nice quality and the colors were beautiful. I’d definitely buy from them again.

The quality is fantastic for the cost and they have Almost perfect bags for sale on their website which are bags with minimal almost unnoticeable flaws for deep discount but the only negative would be that the bags get heavy. There is a Facebook group for Portland leather bag lovers and it may help get a better idea of the bags. But beware, joining that group made me purchase nearly 4 bags in a year! Haha…

Been looking for a good sturdy leather tote for daily use, something that can go from work, to the store, to carpool and playdates. Not interested in the pricy luxury totes, would be too afraid to carry them around and getting them dirty.

Anyone with experience with items from Portland Leather Company? Quality, customer service, etc. It seems to be all over FB and I am weary of buying stuff based on a FB Ad.
