Subject: good recipes - dates
I make Indian sweet-sour chutney when I have dates to use up - it's the tamarind-date sauce you often see served with samosas.
It's a great condiment to have on hand though - much prefer it to ketchup!
Recently was gifted boxes of dates but no one in my family (including myself) is a big dry fruits fan. I mean, we don't hate it but it's not something that we buy regularly. I know making dates syrup is a thing, or substituting them for raisins is a thing but again, unfortunately I am not really into baking...
Anyone have good recipes for using up a lot of dates, perhaps little snacks that are easy to make?
TIA
