Yes- the Hyundai Tucson has something if someone comes from the side, but not sure about park assist like if you're about it hit a pole. etc

Are you referring to the alarm that will sound if the car gets too close to another car as you are backing up? That is very useful. I like the standard safety improvements cars have and will get one with such a package when my kids drive.

It's only audible inside car. Not like those trucks

I would not be happy if my neighbor's car beeped as it backed up! I can hear Fedex/UPS/Amazon beeping as I telework, but that's okay because it's during the day. I don't want to hear it at night or at 7am in the morning.

It’s nice to have, but generations of drivers learned to drive without it. He should be looking in his mirrors whether or not it has the back up beeping. Also, backup cameras don’t replace actually looking, either.

I was looking at a Hyundai Tucson for my son and I don't think any have the beeping when you back up?
Only "radar for cross traffic"

How important is this? I loved having it on my old car!
