Miscarriage 1 - 61 at 4 weeks, 300 at 4w2d - miscarried at 5 weeks at 6000
DD1 - 4 week beta 250, was 600 at 4w2d - one healthy kid
Miscarriage 2 - 88 at 4w, 36 at 4w3d
DD2 - 47 at 4weeks - was prepared for another MC, 145 4w2d - one healthy kid

Do you know for sure it’s twins? My super high beta ended up being a molar pregnancy.

They really don't tell you anything. I had betas done right after a 6 week miscarriage. I got pregnant right away so needed to track it carefully. My betas with my healthy pregnancy was in the 1300 at 4 weeks and 6 days later was 16,000. Just one healthy BIG boy. I was convinced it was twins.

My first beta was at 5 weeks and it was in the neighborhood of 5,000 with twins.

Betas can be all over the place. I had a chemical pregnancy that started off with a high beta and the nurse told me that was a good sign of a strong pregnancy. Nope. I did go on to have twins successfully with my next pregnancy and I think I might have hit 4 digits by the second beta. I remember the nurse cautioning me not to read anything into the high betas because small women can have high betas due to lower overall blood volume. (I’m not a small woman, lol.)

Two pregnancies - one beta started super, super low and doctor told me to prepare for miscarriage. The other betas were super, super high and doctor told me to prepare for multiples (I was taking clomid). Both pregnancies yielded one healthy kid.

I cannot remember what my hcg s were with twins. Did you have two embryos transferred? I certainly knew I was likely PG at the first blood draw, as there was lots of blood that practically gushed into the vial (I am usually a slow drip)

I will try to check if I have early beta numbers for you in my records. (My g/b twins are 17 so I know more about SAT and ACT numbers right now!)

My previous pregnancy was much lower than what I have now at four weeks. And I had a miscarriage last summer that was also lower. In 48 hours my numbers more than doubled. I’m now reading in the five week mark and no way is that possible.
