I wouldn’t worry too much, especially since it is a certified vehicle and I am assuming from a name brand dealership vs. a small independent one or even an auction.

Did you run a CarFax report on it?
Maybe have a mechanic inspect it thoroughly??

I am assuming that it comes w/a legit warranty too.

Btw, 2018 is NOT an old car in my opinion.
I currently drive a 2012 Honda which must be ancient even though it only reads 58,000 miles on the odometer.
Lol.

I doubt it- it's certified.. but how do I check that anyways? Thanks-

It can sometimes be hard to tell: https://www.consumerreports.org/buying-a-car/beware-the-flood-of-flood-cars/

It probably isn’t flood damaged, but if you’re feeling like the vibe might be off on the sale, it is something to consider.

I don't really consider a 2018 car to be an "older" car. When I opened Many people did not drive very much in 2020 and 2021 due to telework.

I don't think it's old enough to have developed a lot of problems from low mileage

Make sure it’s not a rebuilt flood salvage car.

There is a used car for sale with only 9k miles but it's a 2018. It wasn't purchased for a year until maybe 2019. I love low mileage but I have also heard that cars just sitting around possibly in the elements not being driven aren't great either. Is this weirdly low. Also with the used car market now does it make sense to buy that old of a car? It is certified.. one owner
