Imo flat fronts. That’s one style of house where I think it’s hard to go against the architecture with the decor.

Same here. I just can't get into a white cabinet, grey is too trendy... is a medium wood color still acceptable these days?

Modern, stained wood. To match the wood paneling.
I think matching the inside with the outside is foolish. You rarely get to see both inside and outside at the same time, and you shouldn't have to live with a certain style inside your house just because of when it was built.
